Scratches and dirt cause mistracking and obstruct the flow of information to the laser in your CD drive. When the mirrored side of CD's are scratched or dirty, the laser which reads the data does not reflect back correctly to the controller. Keep your CD's and DVD's clean and free from scratches by using this kit.
