Extend your VGA monitor signal up to 80m from your computer!

The LINDY VGA Extender consists of two units. The first unit is a Transmitter that amplifies the VGA signal and the second is a Receiver. This product can be used to connect a VGA monitor to a computer up to 80m away, or to connect a computers VGA port to a KVM switch, or to connect the VGA ports of two KVM switches together.

Please note: VGA cables are not included and must be purchased separately. This VGA Extender requires that the connecting long VGA cable features 'all pins wired' construction. We recommend you use our Premium or Premium Gold range of S-VGA cables.

Further information

For resolutions up to 1024x768 @ 75Hz the maximum distance is approximately 80m, for higher resolutions the maximum length is reduced to approximately 50m at 1600x1280 @ 75Hz. Please note that this maximum distance vs. resolution ratio is always influenced by the quality of the VGA cards and monitors and can be even higher.

The Transmitter connects to the VGA port on your computer. It takes its power from the supplied external power supply. A long high quality COAX type VGA cable of the required length (Male to Male) connects to the Transmitter, travelling the extended distance to the Receiver where your monitor is connected.
